SCI.net - Supply Chain Integration with Network Technologies

Abstract

Supply chain integration (SCI) is one major part of supply chain management (SCM) that covers the distribution of information in a supply network. Today, research covering this topic still has some serious gaps, as the industry adoption of SCI in its entirety stagnates when considering companies behind the first tier partners of an organization. Purpose of this research project is to analyze the causes for the reluctant industry adoption and to offer potential solutions to increase the degree of integration.
