Project Description

Business Analytics has a significant influence on the performance of companies. According to the annual New Intelligent Enterprise Global Executive study, the top-performing companies are twice as likely to apply analytics to their daily activities. In the same time the amount of data which is created by humans and machines is growing dramatically. Currently there are emerging new kinds of techniques for storing and analyzing so-called “Big Data” efficiently. The focus of this research project is to determine the new opportunities and challenges which companies are facing due to the emergence of Big Data.
